ProffessorRuisheng Hong’s Art Resume
Ruisheng Hong was an art professor and graduate advisor in the Art Departmentof Xiamen University. He was one of the founders of the department and servedas the first dean from 1985 to1993. He is a member of the Chinese ArtistsAssociation. He was the director of the Fujian Provincial Artists Association,executive director of the Fujian Art Education Research Association, and vicechairman of the Xiamen City Artists Association. Hong is an experienced Chineseoil painter with profound artistry, academic accomplishments and rich teachingexperience. He is diligent in academic thinking, excels in artistic creation andenjoys in-depth research and peaceful solitude. For 54 years, he has beensolidly pursuing his own artistic dreams.
