剧情简介
以理察．托马斯为首的一批德国青年，在爱国校长的号召下热情地投入第一次世界大战的战场，但还未到达前线，便已在伤兵医院目睹了战争带来的残酷现实，内心开始产生疑问。其后，又一群新兵在士官长埃内斯特．伯格宁等人的率领下投入战斗，历尽了各种波折。
